Proposal and Application Writing

fill a need and succeed

Eggmedia founder and owner, Brian Gross, has garnered thousands upon thousands of dollars in private and government sponsorship and grant money, as well as scholarships for non-profit organizations, students, artists and social service agencies - by writing concise, engaging and pertinent program proposals and grant applications.

The most important key to success when requesting support from government, corporate or non-profit foundations is to clearly and concisely link your proposals to the funding agency's stated goals and priorities. After that, you have to remember that, for the application committee members, reviewing countless applications is usually a nearly thankless job. Make it easy on them - and make them remember you! Eggmedia will, and we can work both on an hourly and commission basis.

We do a limited number of pro-bono applications per year as well, and find that in nearly every project for which we have created proposals and applications, there is some need for public relations, web design or training - which can be worked into the program budget.

Some recent successful funding campaigns we have spearheaded include:

  • Coast Capital Savings Grant, Matsqui-Abbotsford Impact Society, Abbotsford, BC, Created proposal and compiled all grant application materials and relevant statistics to support the “Abby Youth Inclusion and Leadership Initiative” in coordination with Abbotsford Community Services, Ministry of Children and Family Development, Abbotsford School District, Abbotsford Youth Commission – to initiate a youth advisory council.

  • I only needed and wanted a simple website, and that's what I got with eggmedia – but elegantly simple, with every element – visual, textual and interactive – conveying the tone, feel and truth of me and the services I provide. Brian wrote all the text for the site after a short meeting over Italian food – complex ideas rendered in a way that is unique, immediately understandable and true to my voice.
